MV15 Service Vessel

Skipskompetanse is assisting Måløy Verft with class, system and arrangements drawings for their yard no. 15. The vessel is a semi-submergible catamaran that will be used for servicing and supplying windmills at sea.

Naval Architect Ola Lilloe Olsen has designed the submergible catamaran that has special capabilites for work operations close to the wind mills. The hulls can be filled with sea water, which can reduce the movements with as much as 70%.

The wessel will be owned by FOB Shipping AS and will be delivered fall 2010.
