Skipskompetanse and Maritime Competence launches a new Service Vessel concept design

Skipskompetanse is happy to lanch a service vessel concept developed in cooperation with Maritime Competence. The design is focused on crew comfort, safe operations and a good overview of the vessel and the surroundings. The wheelhouse spans full width, giving the bridge overview in all directions.
With maximum battery capacity, this concept is able to operate on electricity for long hours. Using the batteries to boost in PTI-mode, estimations gives a bollard pull of 30 tons and upwards. During transit, a 2-step gear allows for efficient fuel usage and a comfortable voyage.
